Ever since I started pro-blogging, I've always tried to search the web for more information on how to increase my blog ranks. Page ranks, Real rank, Technorati, Alexa and search engine ranking has been considered as the traffic or rank indicator of advertisers in choosing the best blog to do their ads. That’s why since then, I’m trying my best to increase those ranks.
Before I transferred this blog to a new domain, this blog has a Page rank of 2, a Technorati of almost 800 + and an Alexa of 800T +. With those rankings, there is no doubt that I’ve earned a lot from lots of advertisers. But unfortunately, I didn’t know that when you had a new domain all those ranks will reverted to zero or in short – start all over again! What!!! I was so hysterical when I discovered that. Well, as a year old blogger I don’t really know everything yet.
Now, I’m back on track. Mr G awarded me with a page rank of 1, my Technorati has increased a bit but my Alexa had increase extremely. Goody! Thank to the Alexa widget I downloaded last month.
From almost 1M rank on my Alexa last month to 500T today, this widget has surely helped me a lot. Not to mention the search status I’ve downloaded to view other blog’s ranks! Whew! Thank God. I’m giving you this information as a part of my “sharing my blessing ideals”. :)

Recently Alexa added new features in their Top Sites Lists. These features have come to be extremeley well recieved by the web professionals. Alexa is coming up with the newest hoepage offering wherein one can view the newest and the best on the net. In this Alexa Toolbar each member of the community is not only getting a tool but also giving one. this way the community can now about the sites and pages that are coming on top in terms of traffic and search results. Every five minutes the most popular pages visited by the toolbar users in the past one hour are determined and the list of "What's Hot on the Web Right Now" is updated.
